Eating Soy Foods And Drinks May Cut Your Sperm Count In Half!
A recent study has shown that consuming soy products could cut your number of little swimmers by half! And that’s not even assuming your eating a lot of soy either.
Apparently, chemicals in soy products can send signals through your body similar to female hormones. The result – tens of millions fewer sperm than if you had not consumed soy products.
Again, it’s important to note that the study indicates that it doesn’t take a lot of soy suffer the adverse impact. So we’re not talking about tofu eating, soy milk drinking health foodies here. Just a single serving of a soy product every couple of days can greatly reduce your sperm count. Especially if you are overweight.
It’s the isoflavones in soy which seem to be responsible for reducing sperm production. The problem is these isoflavones impact your body in the same way estrogen does. And for guys, that’s not a good thing.
I don’t know about you but I’m putting down the soy burger and having few oysters instead. Oysters are a good source of zinc.
